Setting Teens on the Path to a Lifetime of Healthy Smiles
Orthodontic assessment and treatment in the teen years play a crucial role in ensuring your teenager's smile is healthy, and developing as it should be.
Although oral development slows as kids enter their teens, the face and jaw are still growing. This gives us the opportunity to guide the development of your teen's teeth and jaw toward the ideal outcome.
Our Lake Oswego orthodontist offers personalized treatment plans with either braces or Invisalign to address the unique needs of each of our teenage patients. Treatment in the teen years can be done as a follow-up to Phase 1 orthodontics or as a stand-alone treatment.
Whether the goal is to improve bite function and comfort, adjust tooth alignment, improve aesthetics, or all of the above, we're here to help send your teen into adulthood with a healthy bite and a confident smile.
Flexible Payment Plans
A beautiful, healthy smile can boost confidence and allow your teen to be their most confident self. To help bring their best smile closer to fruition, our team can work with you to create a zero-interest payment plan to fit your budget.
Phase 2 Orthodontics for Teens
Ages 13 - 18
If your child has undergone early orthodontic intervention (Phase 1), they will be ready to embark on Phase 2 as they enter their teen years.
During Phase 1, your child's orthodontist will begin planning and laying down the groundwork for Phase 2 treatment. Successful Phase 1 treatment helps to minimize the need for more invasive treatments in the teen years.
Phase 2 treatment typically involves braces or Invisalign to move teeth to their optimal positions, correct jaw and bite misalignments, and put the finishing touches on the overall appearance of the smile.
Orthodontic Treatment Options for Teens
We offer both Invisalign clear aligners and braces for our teenage patients from across Lake Oswego, Portland, West Linn, and beyond.
